History

1988

A group of entrepreneurs from the area around Växjö in Sweden came up with the idea of starting a regional investment company under the name Bergkronan. The company acquired a number of sawmills and engineering companies. The aim was to go public within 5 years.

1994

Acquisition of the listed investment company Sydostinvest, which included Lammhults Möbel. The Group changed its name to the Rörvik Group.

1997

Name change to R-vik Industrigrupp. The sawmill element was spun off and listed under the company name Rörvik Timber.

1999

R-vik Industrigrupp acquired the listed company Expanda, which included Abstracta. Lammhults became compliant with the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), integrating environmental, social and governance principles into our investment analysis, decision-making, ownership policies and practices.

2000

Acquisition of Eurobib from BTJ.

2001

Acquisition of Voice. Acquisition of BCI.

2006

Acquisition of Schulz Speyer.

2008

Expanda changed its name to Lammhults Design Group. Acquisition of Ire Möbel and IFBD (BCI).

2009

Acquisition of NBLC Systems (BCI) and SchulzSpeyer Benelux (SchulzSpeyer).

2010

Acquisition of Harmonie Projects (SchulzSpeyer) and Borks (Abstracta).

2012

Scandinavian Eyewear was divested. The business was refocused to specialise in furniture and interiors.

2013

Acquisition of Fora Form.

2016

Acquisition of Morgana and S-live.

2017

Acquisition of Ragnars.

2018

The Voice and Ire brands were divested.

2019

The Group’s biggest ever order. The design concept and interior for a library in Dubai.

2020

Negative market impact due to the pandemic.

2021

Continued development of the Group for long-term success. Improvement in gross margin and operating margin.
